Managing Member: Amy Zhang, CPA            

Before starting Affinity Fund Services LLC, Amy Zhang, CPA was an audit manager at Harb, Levy & Weiland LLP (now Eisner Amper LLP), a public accounting firm.  During her four years with the firm, she managed audits of more than thirty hedge funds and private equity firms and helped her clients across the nation.   Before joining Harb, Levy & Weiland LLP, she worked as an auditor in the Boston and Shenzhen, China offices at one of the Big Four firms, PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Zhang received her master of science degree in accounting from Boston College and bachelor of science degree in accounting from Sun Yat-sen University.  She is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of California and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and CalCPA Society.  She is also a member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society of San Francisco.

Active in the local community and professional associations, Zhang serves on the board of directors at CalCPA San Francisco Chapter.  Zhang is also a member of Career Development Committee at the CFA San Francisco Society and Scholarship Committee of CalCPA Society of San Francisco.  She is a member of 100 Women in Hedge Funds and Association of Women in Alternative Investing. Between June 2008 and March 2012, Zhang served as Vice President and Chair of the Audit Committee at Children's Council of San Francisco.

Zhang is frequently quoted by online and print media and a speaker at different hedge fund events.  Most recently, she spoke at the 8th Annual Alternative Asset Summit held in Las Vegas in October 2011.  See more details at Press Center and Speaking Engagement.

Born and raised in Southern China, Zhang is fully literate in both Mandarin and Cantonese, in addition to English.
